Past Events

Keller Williams generously spent a day sprucing up our neighborhood's community garden in their annual "day to give where they live" in early June, 2012. Volunteers painted beds, added new native landscaping, and helped build 2 additional planting beds at the north end of the lot. In addition, they provided a great new composter and fruit trees! Thank you to Keller Williams, to Sarah Neely who helped to arrange this event, and to everyone who took time to come out and lend a hand.

In addition, the community garden was significantly improved thanks to a grant from the Hillsborough County Office of Neighborhood Relations and the Frank E. Duckwall Foundation.  Historic Shed provided the gorgeous garden shed (volunteers will be painting it and completing installation), signage was added and new, native plants were added to the butterfly garden!
