About the Community Garden

The Community Garden (1306 E. 15th Avenue is up and running with plants in a handful of plots -  It now has a functioning, water collecting rain barrel, 4 large compost bins, plenty of butterfly garden space, 15 really large (12' x 6') plots, a large open, partially shaded work space and a garden shed!

Thanks to the generosity of Tampa Crossroads / Sara Romeo (loaning us the plot), a BrightHouse Grant, Independent Tree Services (free mulch), Tarry's Dump Truck, and a whole lot of volunteer work, the plots are FREE to anyone interested and willing to pitch in to maintain their plot and the common area!

Would you like a plot?  There are a few available.  Join us on Saturday, November 16th at 9am for a garden work day!

What can you plant now? Check out this great resource.
